Chimera is Closed

Hello everyone! I would like to thank everyone for participating in this community - whether you were a member of the topsite contest, or if you diligently voted for your favourite site!

The link button to Chimera that is placed on member sites for people to vote for you may or may not be working at the moment. I'd like to apologize for this; Chimera has received around 100 hits to the voting script per second, and for that, my webhost had to put a limit of 100 requests per 5 seconds on the Chimera script. But, this still wasn't enough, and Chimera crashed the web server. (Um, oops? Sorry Dreamhost!) The site is back up now with a request limitation on, but still, Chimera is taking up too many resources (over three million requests per day).

So, with sadness, Chimera has to close. Please remove your voting code from your site at your convenience, as it will probably stop working all together soon. Thank you for participating in Chimera Web Design Resource Topsites!
